VIN DE FRANCE

Inspired by the old French word ‘ru’, meaning small river, this macerated wine expresses the purity and patience of artisanal craftsmanship.

Made in amphorae from Sémillon and Sauvignon Gris grapes, it reveals a vibrant freshness, natural elegance and a timeless spirit of sharing.

Tasting Notes

Rù 2024 is rich, carried by a delicate and harmonious structure. Its aromas of ripe yellow fruit intertwine with the subtle freshness of eucalyptus and mint, as well as subtle notes of white pepper that highlight its complexity.

250 vines of Sémillon and Sauvignon Gris on a 1-hectare plot

Wine-making

30% of the berries are crushed by feet.

Whole bunches are macerated for 166 days (5 months) in a 750-litre amphora with occasional manual pumping over using a bucket.

Ageing

5 months of maceration in amphorae on lees

3 months in Clayver sandstone vats
