Art on the Estate
Michel Darriet's daughter, from a line of eight generations of passionate winemakers, took over the reins of the estate in 2019 with a bold vision: to offer authentic viticulture where tradition and modernity come together in harmony, freeing itself from the established conventions of Bordeaux.
"A winemaker is, in essence, also an artist."

When wine becomes a work of art…
The Tree of Life, a metaphorical sculpture by Manuel Alvarez, recalls the enduring connection between man and nature, the ephemeral and the eternal.
Nearby, its twin, the Tree of Knowledge, embodies the wisdom passed from generation to generation, reminding us that every gesture, every harvest, is part of a millennia-old choreography.
A third sculpture, The Sun Meets the Moon, completes this artistic trinity. Symbols of solar and lunar cycles, this work illustrates the importance of time in crafting a great wine and the estate’s alchemical philosophy.
Together, these three sculptures form the emblem of Domaine des Perchés and express its guiding philosophy, merging nature, art, and wine in a constant dialogue.
"Here at Domaine des Perchés, art and wine converse—not in silence, but through a poetic scenography."

The labels of our iconic cuvées, Perchés Blanc and Perchés Rouge, are true contemporary artworks.
Inspired by the arcs of the Tarot of Marseille, they reflect the uniqueness of each vintage, blending symbols of the seasons, the cosmos, and the harvests, and embodying the poetic and singular character of these wines.
Conceived as evolving artworks, this collection unfolds over the long rhythm of the vineyard and the seasons. Each vintage gives rise to a new “card,” a new chapter in the story of the Domaine des Perchés.
Each visual is born from a dialogue between the artist Camille Mansir, Carine, and Marius, chapters of life and emotion that capture the soul of the estate.
Each cuvée thus becomes a unique piece, to admire and to collect.

"Through paintings, sculptures, stained glass, and labels, a dialogue unfolds between nature, wine, and artistic creation."

More than 200 years of family tradition
The micro-cuvées Rù and GPS feature artistic labels, honoring both the expertise of the domaine and the creativity of Jean Vallon.
-
Rù captures the festive and convivial spirit of the estate, where wine becomes a vessel of sharing and emotion.
-
GPS (Génération Perchés Sucrée) expresses the estate as seen through the artist’s vision, enhanced by the vineyard’s GPS coordinates.
Together, these cuvées form a visual and sensory story, revealing another facet of the domaine where art and terroir meet.
"Each work, each detail conveys a moment, an atmosphere, a fragment of life at Domaine des Perchés."
