Perchés Rouge 2024
PGI ATLANTIC
Perchés Rouge 2024 marks a new chapter in the cuvée’s history, driven by a unique blend of six grape varieties grown on the plateau and hillsides of Cadillac, overlooking the Garonne River. This vintage, characterized by its freshness, resulted in slower ripening and a nuanced aromatic profile.
The aging process, combining clay, wood, and concrete, was chosen to enhance the fruit while preserving the vintage’s identity and the expression of each grape variety. The blend, dominated by Petit Verdot, Bouchalès, Syrah, and Cabernet Franc, and complemented by Jurançon Noir and Malbec, gives rise to a precise, vibrant wine of incomparable finesse, where complexity is expressed with restraint and elegance.
